Sometimes you just get a hankering for Fazoli's. I know two people that always oppose eating here so it's not unusual for me to hit this place up alone. I use the drive thru and I always order extra breadsticks. They have on two occasions not given me those extras. I don't make a trip back over it, so I just tear up a little and try to make those two measly sticks stretch all the way through my ultimate sampler platter. When I find myself back there I mention that they really did me wrong last time and they say there's nothing they can do about it. I mean, they give these things out for free when you eat inside, but they won't throw you a fricken bone you go through the drive thru. It was their mistake -- I already paid for them... geez. I keep coming back... gotta check the bag though. I'm just going to go in and sit down and keep asking for breadsticks next time. It's the easiest route. I think they make you go up to the counter now and beg for them. I liked it better when they had the dude with a breadbasket making rounds. Soft, garlic buttery breadsticks... so delicious.

I had passed by Fazoli's many times, finally tried it on a Saturday evening. Ordered Italian Chopped Salad and Baked Spaghetti. I thought both were ok, the salad is chopped into smithereens and you almost need a spoon to eat it. My criticism of the place is it didn't seem patricularly clean. There was food and trash on the floor, a straw wrapper in the windowsill, and a dishtub sitting out half full of dirty water with dirty rags inside. One of the staff nearly grossed me out of existence when she used one to clean a table. Ruined what could have been a totally acceptable meal.

Fazoli's is great, mostly fast, american italian food. I love the red saucy stuff! So I needs extra on everything. This place always gets my extra request correct with no hassles. Pleasant staff and clean place. This use to be close to my job, but I will go out of my way to go to this one now.

We have eaten here a lot over the last 10 years. I have two kids - teenagers now. They like spaghetti. It's fast and cheap. It's also not a fast-food burger joint. :) I like the Sampler Platters - I used to get the classic sampler (spaghetti, fettucini alfredo and lasagna) but now they have an Italian Sampler (spagetti, lasagna marinara and bowtie with chicken, alfredo and broccoli) that I like. You can also pick your own pasta - I like the penne - and then add your sauce. The bread sticks are decent. The salads are decent. Also,if you eat at the restaurant, they now serve their food on real plates and there is non-plastic silverware. I like that it is green and it makes the experience a bit nicer. Did I say it was inexpensive? Once both the kids are gone to college (only 3.5 years, no I am not counting), I probably won't ever eat here again. But it's a great fast food alternative if you have kids.

Staff here are always friendly. It maybe a hit or miss for some but I always had consistent service from them. I just wish that they would not smother their pasta with too much sauce and cheese.

Tried the limited Ultimate Alfredo bowl for this visit. It was a good size bowl of fettuccine, broccoli, chicken, mushrooms, & bacon bits. We devoured our fresh garlic breadsticks (yum) while we waited (short wait) for our dishes. My noodles were cooked perfectly and all the fixings were tasty. However the Alfredo sauce was pretty bland even after I put plenty of grated Parmesan cheese on top of it. I will not order any dishes with just Alfredo sauce again. I will still eat here for the breadsticks and the variety of dishes to choose from. The average dishes are $6.99 and you can add salad, pizza for additional cost. The salads are just your basic side salad so I wouldn't advise ordering it - save from for the breadsticks.

I ordered chicken fett and the food was so salty , it could not be digested. I called the manager Andrew and informed him that the cooks should not place all the salt on their food due to people may have medical conditions that could make them become very ill. The service was ok, but they need to take more time and prepare their food. If you order their food you may want to tell the not to put so much salt in the food.

Nice place, decent food, pretty affordable for what they offer. I like the breadsticks too.

Favoli's Restaurant is for people who think Olive Garden is a "fancy" restaurant. I've never been able to put my finger on why I dislike the taste of Fazoli's until a recent visit. It occurred to me that it tastes like ALDI frozen lasagna entrées that my parents fed me as a kid. Yuuuuuuck! There isn't a whole wheat pasta option to be found on the menu. White flour processed pasta with white flour breadsticks. Maybe I'm just too much of a stuck up foodie. Guilty. On a positive note Fazoli's is a good fast food option and does employ local high school kids. The turtle cheesecake was pretty good. My wife likes Fazoli's once in a while. Bruschetta & Parmigiano-Reggiano: This is an open invitation to Tresha G. to join my wife and I for an Italian dinner cooked by me. If you think Fazoli's is great Italian food you haven't had real Italian food.

While in line, the manager was complaining to the cashier about how he was doing his job. There was one person in front of us, and due to all of this nagging, it took about 10 mins to finally get our order.

I love the food at fazoli's. I have never been disappointed with that. They are not very busy during the day, in fact there were a few employees and a manager just hanging out in the dinning area when I walked in. That was not so bother some. I sat down and ate my meal and before I left decided to go to the bathroom. That is where my experience turned. They were disgusting. I couldn' t even bare the thought of sitting down. I went ahead and waited til the next place I got. Most of the fazoli's I have been to have been very clean and nice, but this one is lacking in the clean department..

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
